Part A — The service

A1. What BBall Video is

BBall Video is an index and viewing layer for basketball highlights. We do not host videos. Every clip must be published on at least one external platform, which hosts and distributes the video. We store metadata and show the clip through the host platform's official player, with the host clearly labelled.

A2. Age

You need a verified phone number to create an account. You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, make sure you have your parent's or guardian's permission.

A3. Your content

• You may only add highlights you created or have the right to share.
• The author on the host platform must match your connected account. You may not upload other people's clips.
• Do not add broadcast footage or streamed professional league basketball; those rights belong to others.
• People shown in a clip may need to consent, and anyone tagged must approve it. Anyone can request removal.
• Do not add music you are not licensed to use.

You keep your rights in your content. You grant us permission to index it and display it through the host's player so the service can work.

A4. Acceptable use

No illegal, hateful, violent or sexual content, no harassment, and no infringement of others' rights. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Part B — Reporting and moderation

Every clip can be reported. When we receive a valid report or rights complaint, we remove the clip from the index, tell you why, and notify the host where relevant. You can appeal a removal. We keep clear records and provide statements of reasons to comply with the Digital Services Act (DSA). You can report or block other users in the app.

Part C — Advertising

The service is funded by contextual advertising shown between feed items. We do not profile users and do not run profiling-based advertising to anyone. We never place ads inside, over or before the host platforms' players.

Part D — Common provisions

D1. Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app.

D2. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". We depend on third-party platforms and cannot guarantee their availability, and we are not responsible for content hosted on those platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

D3. Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, with disputes subject to the ordinary Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

D4. Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops and will note the date of the latest change above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
